Unfortunately I can’t say I’m a born cyclist. I truly enjoy cycling but I don’t think I could be a first class athlete no matter how hard I try. I don’t know what the most important factor is, but I remember that Einstein said something like: the talent is only 1% of success and 99% is the hard work. I don’t know whether this goes for sports activity, but it seems that no matter how much effort I put in exercising I can’t reach certain standards. Maybe one of the most important factors which is a necessary ingredient in order to become a superb athlete is motivation. Without it nothing can be achieved.
