Sparks steps out of his comfort zone with this one. And to my surprise it was fantastic. Usually I read his books for the easy to read and identify with, love stories. I can often relate to his characters. With this one he added a thrilling suspense, while keeping the focus on the love story. Often thrillers are just that - thrillers. But this was a love story with a touch of thriller thrown in. It was a great easy ready. Highly recommended for any Nicholas Sparks fan.
