What a fun race! I, runswithscissors, and Running Brewer ran this one together. We chatted and stretched and then lined up at the start line. So, the runners start off...and then the gun goes off.  I felt pretty good during this race and it was great to have the support of my friends there. For me, this race was kind of tough because it was pretty hilly. RB had told me there were three hills and Randy prefaced that to...just plan on throwing out mile 2, Shel, since it's all uphill  By mile three, I manage to whimper...is..this...pant, pant,...the last hill? Soon we came close to the finish. Randy kicked it in and finished even better than he expected. He did a great job. I followed some 30 seconds after. RB was awesome, considering all the injuries and still having the drive to get out there and run this run...and run it so well. My final time was 24:10, 23 out of 250 women, and 118 out 440 runners. I'll let da men tell you how their race experience was.
