any one see it or read the book
i read the book and just watched the movie



that was a shame what those somali people due to each other

amazing less than 20 americans died


a credit to their training

amazing movie with great sound and music

yes - it was amazing that it was less than 20 - but they were rangers and elite special forces - that's a big hit

I read the original Inquirer series and saw the documentary on Discovery. I havn't rented the movie yet. I don't have 2 hours when the kids are not around to watch it.

The other documentary I like is the Scott O'Grady story. Surviving behind enemy lines and the rescue was an incredable story.

I saw the movie.....is it pretty accurate? Seems to me that I remember that the downed pilot did make it out like the movie portrayed....just hard to believe that he did.

ending left a lot of questions if you did not read the book

never told how u.s. got out of somalia
the lack of response

Clinton's real cowardice

lightly touched on the heroism involved


pretty accurate
but disappointed with how they decided to end it
