Robin was up at 0415 today (I get up at 0430 anyway so it was not a problem for me) to start her shopping before working today.

It is an annual tradition.

Screw Black Friday! I hate crowds! I got most of my Christmas shopping done last month. I'll finish the rest up online. Mr. Green

BLACK FRIDAY

When Black Friday comes
I'll stand down by the door
And catch the grey men when they
Dive from the fourteenth floor
When Black Friday comes
I'll collect everything I'm owed
And before my friends find out
I'll be on the road

When Black Friday falls you know it's got to be
Don't let it fall on me
When Black Friday comes
I'll fly down to Muswellbrook
Gonna strike all the big red words
From my little black book
Gonna do just what I please
Gonna wear no socks and shoes
With nothing to do but feed
All the kangaroos
When Black Friday comes I'll be on that hill
You know I will

When Black Friday comes
I'm gonna dig myself a hole
Gonna lay down in it 'til
I satisfy my soul
Gonna let the world pass by me
The Archbishop's gonna sanctify me
And if he don't come across
I'm gonna let it roll
When Black Friday comes
I'm gonna stake my claim
I'll guess I'll change my name

No shopping for me.
Rake leaves this morning for the last time (hopefully) this year and run cut the lawn so the mower will run out of gas in prep for winter.

Basketball game at noon and the wife's brother (and family) from Ohio is coming up from Delaware today.........

Yes. She might die if I waited, I really don't want to plan a Christmas funeral. Thank you for being so thoughtful today. How did I ever live without you as a friend?

HOWEVER...I did buy my dad a Christmas present a week ago and she stole it today to give to him because she says I stole her one and only idea. Not only that, I have to return it this week because they're the wrong size and she doesn't want to give him the wrong size! Parents!

Went to the grocery for some healthy food. Does that count?

I also went to Toys R Us to help my son finish up his "wish list" since it is close by. We didn't buy ANYTHING (that was VERY hard for my son to accept, too!).

We went to Target today for things we absolutely needed for the house, and figured it would be bedlam. It turned out to be only marginally busier than it is on a normal day.

We must have missed the first wave of shoppers.

We drove past a Best Buy, though.
