I have been riding my bike for a long time. It was just a casual ride for the sake of pleasure. However, a year and half ago I began to work out more seriously. I even won some small local competitions. I have heard that biking in intervals can produce better results. Is that so?

Yes it is. Intervals are the latest hit in every sport. Although there were people who claimed that this kind of training can produce very good results during the 50s and 60s, it is for the last 5 years or so that they have got into the spotlight. Intervals are really great tool to improve your time, energy, stamina, endurance. Depending on your goal and distance you can utilize specific intervals. So go ahead and use them. You won’t regret it.
