I had a serious injury. I hurt my knee to that extent that the only option left was a knee replacement. I am OK now and would like to start cycling again. Do you think that I am able to do it? What do you think about biking after knee replacement?

Well, apart from what you are feeling OK you have to check with your doctor. I have seen people achieving top results after serious injuries. Your recovery depends on your total body health so you have to pay attention to your diet. Get some multivitamin and mineral formula, polyunsaturated fatty acids and some protein supplement. After your doctor says that it is OK to start biking, you have to take it VERY SLOWLY. One thing to avoid is riding uphill and at very fast pace. You have to give yourself enough time to get where you were before injury.
