Thanks to those who gave input on why my back was hurting when riding my new bike.

I lowered the seat a little, and it worked wonders. I'm also getting the bike fit next weekend.

I still have some soreness in between my shoulder blades/base of the neck by the end of the ride, but I've heard that goes away as I get adjusted to it.

Here's a question. I'm doing a sprint tri in late September. Is it worth it to get aerobars put on for a 12-mile bike ride? If so, anyone have shopping tips for picking the right ones?

For a 12 mile tri, I wouldn't do aero bars. If you got to where you knew you were going to continue to do tris and dus, that would be the first thing to add to your bike.

rockin'. That's what I was figuring, though every time i've gone to do a relay leg in a tri, all the riders had aerobars...so I figured I'd ask.

If and when I do get them, would I have to get a forward post, as well?
