Posted: 06/29/03 - 18:32 Post subject: Big weekend.......
and boy am I beat, but feeling positive, with only 4 weeks from today being the Ironman, needed a big training weekend. Obviously, for the physical aspect, but almost more importantly for the mental, lately have been feeling my training has not been adequate enough and "can I really do this crazy thing????"
Friday night, 2.2 mile open water swim, felt relaxed, and finished strong, finished just over 1:10.
Saturday, 3 hour long run, covered about 21 miles.
Sunday, 96 mile bike ride (with Dancer and Mr. Dancer) finished with a time of 5:51 over a very hilly course.
Well the weekend is over and I am beat, but ........
I am READY!!!!!!! and am looking forward to my last 4 weeks of training.
that is all.

I'm jealous. I wish I could find the time to train like that.
Good job!
