I finally might have an opportunity to get a job.
I've had so many jobs in my life and I'm so sick of jumping around that I was hoping I could use this unemployment break to find a GOOD job I could stick with. But my husband's been getting around 20-25 hours a week and I've been getting nothing for the past three months, and we're making it by, but BARELY....so is it better to take what you can get and worry about a better job later....?
Even if that means taking a job at Border Grill?

I'd take it. Unless you are severely opposed to waiting tables. But along the same lines, I'd take any low paying job, but keep looking for a good job while you're working there.
I hate money.

It actually wouldn't be waiting tables. I wanted never to be a waitress. This is an authentic-type mexican restaraunt, and it's pretty much fast food. They need line cooks and cashiers.
I hate money, too. I really didn't want to have to make any more job switches, but we could use the money desperately.

I agree. Make the money now and keep looking for something better. You can always keep the Border Grill gig part time for a while when you find something else. Then you'll have even MO money!
What is it you do, or think you want to do? For a real job, I mean.
