I am not a plumper. I just want to lose a few pounds of fat. I figure that the best way to do it is to ride a bike. I am not sure how am I supposed to do it. I keep hearing about distances, intensity and all other things. I would appreciate if you can tell me what the best way to lose weight on bike is.

Before you start you must know one thing. In order to lose fat you must burn more than you eat. In other words you must create caloric deficit. You can do it either by eating less and smarter or by exercising more. The best way is to do both. Cycling can create caloric deficit if you cycle say, an hour or two a day. You don’t have to cycle hard but consistency is the key. Also performing high speed intervals two or three times a week can boost your metabolism and make you burn more even at rest.
