I would like to start swimming more seriously. I like to become competitive swimmer. I know that in order to achieve that I have to train many times a week throughout the year. Swimming in summer only isn’t going to cut it. When do you think is the best time for pool?

Well, anytime is good time if you want to work out. You have to work on your schedule to squeeze in some 4-5 workouts a week if you want some serious results. Maybe at the beginning 2-3 sessions a week are going to be sufficient. However later you may want to pick up the pace and work out more often. Generally, morning is the best time since you are at your best. However if you can’t do it in the morning any time will do. Like Nike commercial used to say: “Just do it!”
