(a quasi-public service announcement - no replies necessary)
Reports on the Mad City stuff this weekend may come as early as this Sunday evening, or as late as Friday June 4. The home computer is not working. I wasted a half hour this morning unable to get on while LC ran. I went out for some things, and when I came back, she said she'd been up and running on the internet for an hour. I get on to e-mail somebody, and NOTHING.

Maybe you need to have a computer "exorcism". I know that we had a computer that was evil. It was named Christine. It is gone now...I hope...

We are having puter issues too. I think it's a wireless issue, but it could be the firewall, who knows... and it's been sluggish for quite some time. I can get some things to load, other things will not, and sometimes it's just a crap shoot. I feel for you.
My IT guy comes home on Wed. Want I should send him over once he's done here? 
Thank goodness you have a library, or all would be lost!

that is too funny! I've been calling all of John's computer's Christine because he loves them so much. And yes, they have been known to have their evil days. His won't even boot up, and he just futzed with it a couple weeks ago, putting in new hard drives, dvd drive, etc. Says we're missing a DLL. Nice. 
Hey, good news for us, Time Warner is bringing us out a new modem on Monday. Since I'm without wheels, I have to wait, but it's all good. I'm so happy! She said we were operating at 61%... no wonder I'm wanting to open a vein!
