I read about this woman in Runner's World a while back. She had to fight a seriously hard bought of depression, and is now back with a purpose.
She's gonna run the Badwater Ultra, then 30mi past the finish line, then turn around and do it all again.

this is her website. She is a fabulous person. I recently started coaching with her. She is running the Badwater 300 and is raising money doing it! Really interesting stuff on her site and her blog.

I ran (ok walked) with her for a few minutes during the 2001 Olander Park 24 Hour - a few days after 9/11

xtri.com has a (small) picture of her during her 30mi hill work....pushing her kid in a running stroller...and pulling her other kid in a pulk.

Wow! That's hardcore!!!!
A good running movie is "Running on the Sun" it's a DVD documentary about Badwater...the training for it, the actual run, the ugly feet, the heat, the finish line....check it out!
