Yep, another name has been sold. They are no longer the Chigago Bears, it's Bears Football presented by Bank One. Within 10 years, ESPN highlights will sound like this:
The Dallas Dr. Pepper Cowboys beat the New York Met Life Giants today at EDS Stadium by the AFLAC final score of 27-10....
Play by play will sound something like this:
Eddie George presented by Sears picked up the Wells Fargo first down before being stopped at the Coca-Cola 45 yard line by Roy Williams presented by Dillards. Eddie George presented by Sears has rushed for 85 McDonalds yards and scored 2 Cingular Wireless touchdowns today...
It's just a matter of time until every player has multiple ads on their jerseys...probably helmets, too. Is it just me, or is the NFL resembling NASCAR more and more each day?

It's the fault of the fans for not coughing up more dough for salaries by buying more tickets and fan gear.
