So I go to the book store last night.
And I noticed something that has been a growing trend
in the last year of the employees hired there.
There's a woman (mid 30's) with blue hair and a nose ring.
A woman early to mid 40's who wear normal clothing except
the skull and crossbones panty hose.
A younger women (19 to 22) who's covered with tattoos on arms, neck, back.
Cash wrap male (mid 20's) with deep intense cherry hair (mohawk).
Won't begin to describe the two at the Starbuck's within the book store.
Great workers know their stuff just I'm trying to wrap my head around the interview process.
I can't be the only person that's seen this.

the girl that waited on me today had dyed blacker than black waist length hair, a spiked dog collar around her neck, a silver ring on every finger, a minimum of 20 bracelets on each wrist, a pierced tongue and, yes, a button picture of her one-year old proudly displayed on her chest!!!

Maybe she's got a double income as a walking cheap jewelry billboard....

Someone once told me there are three kinds of people in this world: men, women and Tower Record employees.

Thegman's 'almost' secretary had to get a job somewhere after he turned her down.

I don't read Harry Potter.
No the hair was "Vivid" and the lighting not that bright so it really stood out.

No matter what bookstore employees look like, I find them to be polite, attentive, clearly understandable, and intelligent. They are also eager to help me, which is surprising given how little their hourly wage is. I'll take them with their "odd" looks and great work ethics over most of the clean cut rude and stupid corporate types I work with any day.

True dat! I'd rather ask for help at Barnes and Noble than at Wal-Mart.
