Well, I got back from my trip earlier this afternoon. I spent 4 days in Wilmington at a pretty fun conference.
There was much  going on. I was able to grab a couple of pics:
Here is the view from my hotel room. The hotel was on the Cape Fear riverfront:
Before I left to travel back today, I went over to the Battleship USS North Carolina, which was just on the other side of the river from the hotel:

i toured that very battleship. imagine maneuvering thru those tiny hallways and stairwells when you're 7 months pregnant.
