I have a training program (16 weeks) for my first marathon. I was very concerned that I had fallen way off of it due to injury. Last night I looked at it and realized that I am only a couple of days off, or essentially on schedule! A big relief. Being my first big one, I was really freaking nervous about not following this pretty minimal program (for first time marathoners not shooting at any time, just finishing), its max long runs are 2-18 milers on the program as written, but I think I will try to do a 20 and 22 miler.
I still hope to do it in under 4 hours, though!
