Hey gang! We are back from a great vacation in Colorado!!!! It wa a bit hectic at times with all the family there, but we had lots of fun and got to relax a lot, too. I think the highlight was just hanging out with my parents and brothers and sis in laws and playing Uno or Sorry and just cracking up.
The mountains, especially Pikes Peak, were beautiful as always and the weather varied from very cold to really warm. Hayden was a real trooper on his first plane trip. We hit some snags when the first Sunday we were there the poor kid got a bad case of pink eye and we had to go to the urgent care center. But through that and a bit of a cold the rest of the week he was a sweetie and it was lots of fun having him out there.
We had a bit of a time getting home, were supposed to on Saturday but between mechanical and weather problems we got off the plane after sitting there 2 1/2 hours because we knew we'd get stuck in Houston. So we went back and had another night in the cabin and then finally made it home Sunday.
All in all it was a great trip! I can't wait to get my pictures back, I think I took about 1,000!!!!!
Good to be back home though. Hope everyone was on their best behavoir while I was gone!
