I will add to the buzzkill now plaguing this thread. Injury has greatly limited my miles since mid-November and will continue to do so for the next two weeks at least.
I don't know if I will be able to train sufficiently for the half in Austin. I will try, but even if I'm ready come early February I then have to worry about accomodation and flight prices.

OK, company wants me in Houston for 2 weeks. I could swing it that the weekend in between is during the race, so if the trip's a go, I'm in as it will be all free for me. We'll find out soon.
