134.1 miles, Avg pace: 7:58 min/mile, Total Time:17h 47 min 15 s
This month has been pretty decent for me and I have made it back to my pre-injury mileage though the last week was tough. Took about 4 days off this month to recover from shin splints. Hope to rack up some higher mileage this September w/o getting injured.
So how was August for you guys?

This month I ended up at:
Running
125.6 miles
Time: 17h 33m 53s
Avg. Pace: 8:23/mile
Cycling
10.0 miles
Time: 29m 37s
Avg. Pace: 2:58/mile
Rowing
3.1 miles
Time: 19m 53s
Avg. Pace: 6:24/mile
Not to bad I guess. After Tuesday's run I was at 815 miles and an 8:15 average pace. My mileage will really start to increase as I start getting ready for my marathon.

125.2 miles over 18 days, one race (half): not too bad despite postponing today's LSD. I'm coming back, getting there, looking forward to September: lower humidity, lower heat, beginning of race season. Ahead of schedule re. marathon training - so far, so good.
Need to up # of lifting sessions, though.

Low mileage but still managed a 5k pr and also my 3rd best ever 5k.
Did well on the weightlifting for upper body, didn't miss one workout.

Running:105 miles.
Too few biking and swimming to report!
(In my defense August was a recovery month for me.)

If I was able to complete an Ironman, I would have to consider taking a recovery year off!

127.8 miles
This month was the worst month of 2003. I entered a major burnout phase. No PRs. I backed off the weights and speed workouts. I also got hit by a car in a race, which is pretty much a good metaphor for my August running experience.
I'm hoping that September is a lot better.
