Anyone ever play Axis & Allies? We use to play this all the time in College (when I went to Madison). I am thinking about picking up a CD version of it. Give me something to do at work. Wink

Is that the one where you have control over countries and you roll dice and try to take over the world? Or am I thinking of something else? My brain's on fry mode right now...

AH!!! That's it! I played Risk a ton in college. Never played axis and allies, though.

Risk, Battle Cry, Skirmish, Broadside and Dogfight a ton- still have them.
Each Christmas while shopping at Toys R Us, I always pine for Axis and Allies or a ready good table top Hockey game. (Hint Pebbles).

You get the wimmins stuff and I get the little boys stuff. (Hey we can always say it's for Nick, maybe even paint a Thomas the Train on it).

my 8 yr old has both a&a and risk...........he'd been begging since he was 6........I gave in after a year. Tried to tell him that it's fo 10 and up. This is the same child that requested "chest" at 3 y/o???????????? Finally, figured out he wanted Chess CD-ROM (he beat his father yesterday and ma still hasn't learned--although he's gone over it a million time with her). Mom plays "go fish" with 6 yr old....I can handle that game!
