It is the Athens Marathon...Athens, Ohio, that is. Athens is a small farming community in southern-east Ohio, best known for Ohio University and their Halloween parties that usually end up with riots and such..
I'm running the half-marathon, my first here. I've only been to Athens once, but will travel there again to hopefully run the bike trail before the race.
The race is April 4, 2004.
