That was me, but running has taken over so much.... oh, well. Life is a cycle of stages.
I draw using pencils and fill with charcoals, pastels. I love drawing people. I still have yet to make an open, smiling mouth look natural. I can't paint, though, to save my life. I would love to learn how to make stationary. I also write poetry, I like metered verse, but no one writes in meter anymore, it's all free verse, which I think detracts from the art because a plethora of crap gets published that lacks rhythm (well, the good stuff mimicks natural language patterns) and defies standards in the art.

To answer the question for reals: I take pictures, I sketch sometimes, I try to paint, I have been known to knit.
My grandmother is an artist by trade and my dad is a fantastic painter. Unfortunately, I did not get the talent they have.
I can also dance like this:

I play guitar.
Can't draw (paint or sculpt), but I'm drawn to photography. I don't know if I have any artistic ability there yet. Someday, when I have more time I will pursue it further.

I can't draw, color, shoot even cutting straight with a scissors is tough enough.
I can't sing, or play an instrument(very well).
I think maybe I was born without an artistic chromosome. |
The worst part is that I love to sing and would love to play an instrutment.
Like John Cusak said in Better Off Dead - "I made a bird house in wood shop and the fair housing commission condemned it"

Unless you count creating bawdy 'alternative' lyrics to the songs I sing along to on the car radio, I have nothing. I'm occasionally able to elicit a smile from the wifey at these times, though more often it's a look of disgust.

I draw.
Mostly pencil sketches. It's amazing that I don't tire of doing hand sketches (you know, your own hand). I have a portfolio from college (2 classes only) with nudes. I had no idea when I signed up that the models were nekkid! I really enjoyed trying to draw form.
I consider myself an artsy-fartsy kinda girl.

well, I fall into the artsy-fartsy category too. I was wondering how many of us do. I haven't been doing enough art stuff lately (for sheer pleasure) although you may recall I did some things for our church for Christmas. I've found something new to experiment with and it has really created a spark for me. I keep looking for ways to take a class in drawing, but I haven't found anything that will fit into my schedule, or doesn't cost too much.
