Philly just started a franchise in the AFL. They had their first game yesterday. I liked what I saw, lots of action, scoring, etc. I may take the kiddies down for a game, its about the only pro sport that is still family friendly.
Anyone else interested in Arena Football?

I will likely watch it now that philly has a team. I watched a little last year and liked the pace.
I think the game was almost sold out yesterday.
Ticket prices are hard to beat too...

We had the Cobras here in Raleigh, but they moved to Charlotte. I think they got tired of having to coordinate with the Hurricanes hockey games and the NC State basketball games.
Arena league is fun to watch, though.

Jon Bon Jovi is one of the owners.
I watch a little bit when it is on tv. I like that there isn't really any out of bounds, near as i can tell.

Austin has an AFL franchise, the Austin Wranglers. They seem to be selling lots of tickets. I may have to check out a game.

The Kixx are pretty friendly. I went to a game about 5 years ago. Indoor soccer is a lot more fast paced as well and they have 1, 2, and 3 point goal ranges.

I used to watch it alot...not much anymore.
They are a BLAST to go to live, though.
Sioux Falls has a franchise in a different, smaller market league.
Highly reccommended if you want to see an exciting sporting event.

We had an Arena 2 league team for 2 years. I had season tickets last year and it rocked. Jason and I went to most of the games. He really enjoyed it and it was definitely fan friendly. He keeps asking if we are going this year but the team folded for some reason. Maybe now that we have a new coliseum we will get an Arena team.
Have fun at the games.

We have the Dallas Desparados here. I really like going to the games. Lots of points and it's a lot of fun. Tickets are cheap too! They start at $5 and you can get pretty good seats for $10
