I am! I just registered my little man for a running program. He was in it last year and it taught him so much about track & field. I asked him if he wanted to do it again this year and he was so excited about it. I love that he has the same love for running that I do! Chip off the old block, I tell ya! cry

We are getting our beach timeshare stuff together as well. We always make a yearly trip to VA Beach and spend a week in our timeshare. It is always so relaxing! VA Beach has become our home away from home.

We are trying to get my step-son here this summer. He just turned 16 last week so some driving lessons are on tap if he does come! eek

The one thing I haven't started planning yet is a surprise birthday party (45th!) for my DH! I have NO CLUE what to do for him this year and that is a big surprise for ME. I'm typically all prepared with plenty of party ideas but I can't come up with one single thing to do...not to mention we will be at the beach the week before any party I would throw and the week before my parties is the busiest time!

What's going on with you guys this summer (besides running, of course).

One week of fishing in Ontario scheduled . I'll be spending a good deal of time in the passenger seat while my kid learns to drive.

Just booked flights to Ft. Meyers. The timeshare at hilton Head was booked. Waited too long this year on account of the big D and all that stuff. Daddy is looking to buy a condo on the beach, so we are shopping in Florida, should be loads of fun.

Actually, I'm glad to be going somewhere different. Very glad to be flying this time.

Really Really glad to not be driving through Charlotte. Smile

I'll be making two trips to Florida. The first trip will be to my parents' home with the kids in June sometime. I'm trying hard to plan this around 3 basketball tournaments my oldest daughter has and bite the bullet charging it on a credit card. Somehow, dropping $1K for the trip is hard to do.

The second trip I'm taking is in July for my 20 year HS reunion. I don't have the details all worked out, but I will be "home". This is my favorite place in the world and where I want to return one day. I already am planned to stay with my best friend from college for a few of the days and then go to the reunion that weekend. Not sure if I'll stay at the resort where it's held?? It's expensive!! I've got a few other plans that I'm working on and they'll probably be the best part of the trip. It all depends on how much time another one of my friends takes off from work to spend with me. I can't wait really! I've wanted to get back to Orlando for quite some time now. I'll probably have more trips scheduled from that point on as time goes on...

The rest of the summer will be time off with my kids. I can't wait to give them time off from everything that's happened this year. They deserve the summer off. Oh...I'll be cleaning out my classroom as well.

Thursday, Friday and Monday I have off to carry out a mission to Maine to recon with the Wenchlet.

I'm 99 44/100 percent sure I'm going to Madison in May.

July will be three weeks of FULL ON WENCHLET.

Other than that and a few day trips dunno

I'm going to an Indians game June 26. I might run a 1/2 marathon in the morning of that day.

I might run the Rolling Rock Race in July if I ever discuss it with my husband. Maybe he would like to ditch the family gathering and go with me.

Pretty low key here. Most of my vacations occur in the non-summer seasons.

I think we need to send an Ohio contingent to invade Rolling Rock's home team race....
