It's really easy to fix. You just type in the command "repair table phpbb_privmsgs_text" in phpMyAdmin and it fixes itself after a minute or two. Of course you have to be sitting in front of the server and I hadn't planned on going back in to work until Monday.
Looks like I'll be swinging by the office tomorrow.
