Well I ran my first race in over a month. It was only a 5K but I felt like I ran it pretty well considering that I have not done any speed work in probably a year. I don't have any major details except my splits were 6:56, 7:06 and 7:16 with a 43 second final 1/10th. My chip time was 21;57. I finished in 100th overall. Due to the amount of walkers for this it doesnt do any good to put the total count.
I felt pretty strong the whole way and in the final half mile or so only about 5 people passed me and I think I passed about that many myself. The weather wasn't to bad. One of the people at the gym that was doing the walk portion says she got some good pictures of me running and at the post race party. When I get them I will share them.
