A guy from the OSHA Training Institute in Chicago, and an aquaintence of Tom's (my boss/f-i-l) is constantly shooting business my way. He has given me the lead on at least 2 very large orders for one of our best testers (TASCO's Inspector II). This is a high-end item, and obviously, a guy buys 200 of them, I'm getting a hefty commission check that month.
So I've been thinking for some time that I need to show this guy my appreciation.
I just have NO idea what form this appreciation should take. Any ideas?

Actually, he's one of the instructors at the Institute there. He has no connection with us at all other than knowing we sell this stuff, and being a friend of Tom's ( ).
What's a golf certificate? (Sorry for the ignorance.)

Find some nice golf courses in his area and call them up to see what kind of 'packages' they offer as gifts...
One example of a package would be 18 holes / a cart / and say $20 in drinks for two.

His girlfriend of 17 years just dumped him (got tired of waiting). He shaves his head. He's very nice. He drinks Cosmopolitans (I'm gonna refrain from making any sissy remarks, but you guys are welcome to).
He lives by himself in an apartment.
I don't know whether or not he golfs, but I've never heard him mention it. I guess I could casually find out.

I'm an instructor, and I know what instructors like: BOOZE. We need it after putting up with stupid trainees all day.
Nekkid photos of you might also suffice. The gift that keeps on giving.
Seriously, anything to deal with pampering will work. Who doesn't love massages, seaweed wraps, mud baths, etc.?
