Anyone? What distance? Expectations? Goals? Are you ready?

My goal is to run near 18:00 and not poo down my leg. I'm using this race as a stepping stone of sorts.

Well not this weekend but the next (close enough)...I'm doing a half for which I'm tapering right now (it's my 2nd one)...Hope to hit a 1:24-1:26 goal time range...I guess I should be well prepared by now provided that I do my taper right although for some reason I'm feeling a bit nervous about it, even doubting myself that I may not reach my time goal...I know I shouldn't think that way..perhaps it's just pre-race anxiety...

That's my goal for next weekend.
This weekend, I'm doing a shorter-than-a-formula-one duathlon. 2 mi. / 10 mi. / 1 mi. Going for splits of 12:20 / 26:00 / 5:50 + transitions.

I'm racing an 8k two weekends from now and hoping to go under 38 (not quite as fast as you yet). But remind me not to run behind you if anything is dropping down your legs.

But of course. 7th week in a row of racing, this time the Heroes to Hero 5K where all proceeds go to the families of 3 fallen firefighters. I've done this since its inaugural run in 2002 and PRd both years. I'm looking to do so again this year.

Don't know about racing, but I'm running a little tiny event in downtown Chicago. Rumor has it other RR folks will be there.
Good luck everyone!

I'm hoping to run a 10k saturday. My only goal is a PR and I feel I can pull it off easily.
Next weekend is a 5k for sure. My goal for this one will be trying to get my first sub 25. I'm not so confident about this one tho. I have no idea what the course is like.
