No true racing until October 30th. (I think that's the date.)

Do I get an age factor for a spot? Like about 30 seconds?

I'll spot you a quote from an e-mail from the race director ::
| Quote: | | I do have to be honest and mention to you that I would not expect this course to generate a PR for most runners. It has a few hills, one of which is significant. |
He assured me that it was an accurately measured course though.

Hmmm here's the quote from my race.....
Next up in the Subway Challenge Series is the Canal Classic in Navarre on Saturday, August 21st. This is the fastest certified 5K around. Sign up on line now and we pick up the on line fees!
I guess I can use this as my age handicap.... I pr'd this course last year but I've totally sucked at 5k's this year.

Being the daring, frivolous men that we are, PH and I have settled on the staggering sum of five dollars as our wager for this race. And since neither of us wants to part with five bucks I'm sure our performances will be outstanding.

I will take PH. (Gotta go with my hometown boy.) What type of odds are you pushing Mech?
