WVA means hills
I'm looking for a long run in the Oh/PA/WVA/Indy area for the weekend of Labor Day. Actually, I want to run my last long 20 miler that weekend.
There is a 1/2 marathon in Columbus, Ohio, which is kind of my last resort, since I really don't like the town.
So there's this 15 mile race in Charlestown. It's a " challenging scenic course, taking you through downtown, rolling through our beautiful hillside neighborhoods, around our West Virginia Capitol and along the city's riverfront." I think in WVA speak that means you go from the river bottom, up the side of the mountain, and then back down to the river again.
Does anyone know anything about this? It's still a possibility. I would take WVA with hills vs a flat Columbus...
