That's all?! Just pees on furniture? Now if you would tell me that she also surfs porn on the internet all day, puts sugar in your gas tank and kicks your grandmother, I'd be driving down to Iowa to pick her up!!!!

CB--what system are you using to train Penny? I did the cowbells by the back door and potty training was done in weeks. Everytime I took her out I brushed her against the bells first and then went outside. It was very within days I would hear the bells ring and she'd be waiting by the door for me.
Of course they get smart and sometimes she'd ring the bell and you let her out.....but then she'd stare up at her leash in the garage

Actually, she has been doing really well which is why I was so shocked when it happened. She lets us know when she needs to go out and when she does have an accident it is usually when she's down stairs and there is a blanket on the floor (she has a thing for peeing on blankets). She hasn't peed in the living room for ages -don't know what got into her.
I've forgiven her (for now). But if she starts up on the porn and sugar in the gas tank it's off to Wisconsin she goes.

Hey CB--just so you know, many dogs, especially females, aren't completely trustworthy in the house until near a year old. So, the odd accident will happen.
Also, when the dog gets beyond a year, sometimes an elimination in the house can be her way of telling you she's sick or something is wrong. (Like a ut infection or upset stomach etc)

I think she was just trying to tell me she's tired of me telling her to get of the furniture. "you think this chair is too good for me? Yeah, well now let's see how good you think it is "

Airehead--my dog would have "accidents" when she was mad.....usually after she had spent a few days in a kennel. I was told dogs will do it in the room of the person that she dislikes.....which was my son's (we had dog before son). Within hours of being home from the kennel.....she dump on his floor.

Unconditional love.
Unfortunately some of that unconditional love is expressed by unconditional peeing.

Lol. Afraid not, though I suppose diapers are always an option.

You just reminded me of our poodle (RIP). One night Mr Aire went to a military dinner and obviously couldn't take her. She was rather angry at this turn of events. She waited by the door from the moment he left to three hours later when he came back--he opened the door, she looked at him waited for him to bend down to pick her up--and turned and walked away and peed on the rug.
She knew exactly what she was doing.
