Team America World Police

I DO NOT recommend this film, I should have known better when the DVD jacket from Blockbuster warned:

Profanity and gratuitous sexual acts, all involving puppets.

However, there were a few funny songs. One in particular made the movie worthwhile for me, and it went something a little like this....

I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark,
When he made Pearl Harbor.
I miss you more then that movie missed the point,
And that’s an awful lot girl.
And now, now you've gone away,
And all I'm trying to say,
Is Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you

I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school,
He was terrible in that film.
I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part,
He's way better than Ben Affleck.
And now all I can think about is your smile,
And that sh*tty movie too,
Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you

(Interlude)

Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies.
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked,
Just a little bit more then I miss you.

For the record, when I first saw a trailer for the movie Pearl Harbour I vowed never to watch it and to this day have kept my vow.

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard rave reviews from fans of South Park. Although, I think being a fan of South Park might be a prerequisite for that POV...

Yeah, I'm typically not a fan of Trey Parker and Matt Stone (I think I got those names right). I have a low tolerance for excessive, profane, potty humour. But some of their songs are pretty good.

yeah, then I think you're not in the category of target fans Wink I'm not a fan of potty humor and profanity per se, but a lot of times (on South Park anyway) they use it in ways that are witty, clever and may even have a societal message (if you're patient enough to get to the point of the show). But its definitely not for everyone.

The premise of this movie seemed too good to pass up (and a lot of the movie was hilarious despite the profanity). The mistake I made was thinking, "C'mon, how profane and gratuitous can marionettes get?"

I finally saw this and (puppet porn aside, holy crap! Shocked ew) really liked it. Kim Jong Il!!!! And the song you posted! teehee Definitely some great South Parkesque moments. Not the best most funny movie of all time, but I got some good laughs and it made some pretty accurate points. I'd recommend to South Park fans.

We watched it this weekend....the songs were incredible.....the rest was funny but as expected over the top.

Stone and Parker credit Monty Python as inspirations and it is very clear in the irreverence.
The gist of the movie is very reminiscent of the MR. Neutron Sketch of the Flying Circus. America just goes around bombing & bombing and then sends out a vehicle with loud speakers saying SORRY SORRY
