Posted: 02/10/05 - 21:10 Post subject: Any runners around Kitsap County, WA?
I live in North Kitsap County, WA and I've been running Battle Point Park for awhile now. I'm looking for new places to run but I have no idea where any other good parks/trails are at. I'm also looking for running groups in North Kitsap & running events anywhere in Kitsap County. If anyone knows of any please let me know.
Thanks.

Pix, Welcome to the fold! Can't say we've had anyone here from the Oly pennisula. What a beautiful place to live. I've vacationed there a couple times, snowshoed at Hurricane Ridge and had a good soak at Sol Duc.
Here's a good site for NW racing-> http://ontherun.com/
Hope you stick around and give us some reports from the shores of the Sound.

Thanks for the welcome! It sucks living in a place where it seems we are isolated from everything because of the ferry. It seems like every running group and running event is across the Puget Sound!

Hi Pix!
I just saw your post. I wish I could say I was on the Peninsula.. but I am over in Snohomish County...
I know I saw something about a running group though over on that side, I will see if I can find it again and post it here for you...
