I read it this summer but have wanted to read it again for more comprehension. If others are planning on reading it perhaps a thread can be started for every couple of chapters? Any interest?

I got about halfway through it before my semester started. Its not a heavy read or long by any means, I could jump back in to finish it for a discussion, sure! What I've read so far is very interesting, but I've always been sort of a geek about statistical regressions and correlations and such.
Anyway, yes, I'm in.

Some of his theories are quite controversial. I am all for it.

Agreed... for those considering reading it, the book is indeed an easy read - takes a little focus here and there. The chapters are self-contained so it's ideal to read in bite-sized nuggets (and therefore discuss too).

I read that several months ago. I find that I agree with most of the ideas, but I would be interested to see how well the actual numbers follow his claims. In the book, you get these great, well written tidbits about what causes what, but the statistical evidence is merely hinted at. I am sure much of the resolution to this is in the appendices, footnotes, and following up on everything he referenced, but I didn't have the time nor will to check into it all.
