over? When I fly to Phoenix this Friday, I have a 2hr layover at Chicago's Midway. In the past, I've either flown direct or was in a group that we could sit around and talk during the layover. This time, I'm flying solo.
The only thing I can think of is to take my book and do some reading or take papers to grade.
I would consider taking the laptop, but they don't have Wi-Fi running yet in the airport.

i would take a book or some new magazines to read....
then spend the first half of the time looking for a good spot to wait or a snack then spend the second half of the time people watching.

I love airport layovers!!! I'd take a good book and curl up with a cup of coffee and a cinnabon. Two hours is actually more like an 1 1/4 hours when you count running from one gate to another and checking in.
Good luck and enjoy your trip!!

And forget about the book and magazines while people watching? I think I can do that.
What about standing at the windows and watching the people standing out in the cold and snow while working on the planes?
Oh, if I am near a crowded area, can I occasionally throw peanuts into the crowd? Hmm. Maybe not.

Just remember, it isn't funny to say "bomb", "box cutter", or anything along those realms. I may find it funny, but the police have no sense of humor about such things.

Unfortunately on my flight north for this vacation I didn't get a lay-over. I had to walk straight from one gate to the other. That really stunk!
