Please visit the Department of Defense web page below and sign in thanking
the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom.
The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of
the month. So far, there are only about 1.2 million names. What a
shame...... National Military Appreciation Month. The entire exercise
takes 10 seconds...literally.
Please pass it on to your email friends.

That's a cool thing to post~but I'll thank my servicemember in a more personal way!
It's nice to hear that our military members are appreciated. Sometimes all
you hear is such negativity and ugly things about being in the service. As a
military wife, I like that someone appreciates what my husband and our
friends do for a living.

Isn't that the truth.
Thanks for posting this, Eric. The Navy has established a website as an alternative to the "Any Servicemember" and "Operation Dear Abby" regular mail programs, which were suspended indefinitely in the wake of anthrax mail attacks. Those who want to send a message of support or greeting to “Any Servicemember” can do so at this site. You can address the message to one or all branches of the service, and can include a return e-mail address if you would like a response. To receive a message, service members can log onto one of the sites and choose messages for their branch of service and home state. To send a message, go to http://AnyServiceMember.Navy.mil.
