My anniversary is coming up next week (7 years!) and I don't know what to get my husband. Remember, he just lost his job so we can't afford to do anything big. Seven years traditional gift is wool/copper and the modern gift is desk sets (how boring!). I guess I could give him a penny! Wink

Ideas, please!

How about... A cheap day at a street festival in your area ?

I know DC is full of different and free things to do so have at it. Perhaps leave the kidlet at home ? Just enjoy a day together ?

It was a sort of given that you would leave the kidlet with a sitter or other "responsible adult" (<<This person not found on this board) type person. That way it would free you and Mr Diva to enjoy the sights and sounds of DC without kidlet.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

Why don't you make a photo album of the neat times of just the two of you for him? And include the birth of your son.

Maybe neat captions about how you felt during some of the pictures.

And maybe a blank page at the end with words like.."Yet to be filled with many many more happy memories I hope to make with you!"
