I've decided I'm going to take up a new hobby or interest or whatever... I'm already learning piano and getting better (my 8 year old is teaching me) at crochet... but I want to do something VERY different, and fun and interesting.
I just don't know what. What do you guys do that's different and fun and interesting? Or what would you like to do or keep thinking about really doing?

I'm having a blast with Martial Arts. I am meeting new people, learning new defense skills, and getting my a$$ kicked by the advanced students...just kidding. Everyone is very supportive and its working out muscles that running, biking, hiking and weight lifting seem to miss.
No way some loudmouth is kicking me off a treadmill in a gym...
What would I like to do other than all my regular stuff? Get a new motorcycle and ride...ride...ride...

Are you going to? Get a new one? You should!! M's got an '85 Honda Shadow in great condition still, and last year he got his Hayabusa, which we only got out on a few times since he got it so late; so I can't wait until it gets warm enough to get out there.

Sadly, due to having to pay off a cosigned car (daughter) and attorney fees for the STBX, the new bike looks like it's a few months out yet..

I've descided to make a semi-change careerwise. Right now, about 75% of my time is building and analyzing Access databases. While I like it, I do want to move into more high-end applications. So this week I started studying for a few DBA certifications in hope of getting my foot in the door to start working on some major systems.

I'd like to learn to cook great meals. The only thing that has stopped me before is my "everything has to be plain family". They won't eat anything! I think I'm just going to start whipping up some meals and if they don't like them, then they're on their own.

You know who actually has good recipes that are neat, but easy?
That little Martha Stewart cooking mag. Mr Aire whipped us up a great Tilapia meal with mango salsa and grilled asparagus--and that was only his second or third time cooking.
