About 12 years ago I started quilting (stop laughing), and I love it. It's fun to put different fabrics and designs together.
And, on the plus side I've developed a new addiction for collecting quilting books and fabric that I don't need and will never use.
Also:
In the past two years I've started cycling for the first time since I was a kid. It was rough at first, but I'm now starting to be able to go longer distances without totally dying.

I'm having a blast with Martial Arts. I am meeting new people, learning new defense skills, and getting my a$$ kicked by the advanced students...just kidding. Everyone is very supportive and its working out muscles that running, biking, hiking and weight lifting seem to miss.

Martial arts is great!

You know who actually has good recipes that are neat, but easy?
That little Martha Stewart cooking mag. Mr Aire whipped us up a great Tilapia meal with mango salsa and grilled asparagus--and that was only his second or third time cooking. |
I started getting a magazine by default called Taste of Home and it looks like a lot of great stuff in there.

My mom gave me a subscription to that for a few years. There are a lot of great recipes in there.....
I've never made any of them, though

I got a comp subscription to that magazine for a year when it first came out. Not a bad magazine at all.
