For those of you who care. If any. For two days apparently this place goes crazy with drunks catching their limits on lobsters, diving off canals, and boats. I have not yet witnessed this phenomenom, but have only heard others bish so I shall reserve judgment.

If they don't know their limits to drink, how do they know their limits to lobsters?
Do they have to pay $113.50 for a lobster-chasing permit?
(if not, they should, so you don't get ripped off for the marriage license)

You actually have to buy a fishing license with a lobster permit, which is $34.50 (I think). It might be higher for out of state residents; I'm not sure.
There are no normal people down here except for us. None.
You have to grab the lobsters with your hands, no spearing or gigging allowed. However, as Florida lobster have no claws, only a spiny shell, it's really not very fair.

Well I would hope not! Giggling while spearing a lobster is just cruel!

What do they do with them after they've caught them? Does it then become a lobster eating festival?
