So, I'm sitting down at the dinner table with my son tonight and we are having a very light dinner (I didn't have to cook since the DH won't be home for dinner tonight) which somewhat resembles what we would eat for lunch. We had a sannich, fruit salad (yummy, yummy <--- Wiggles reference), and tortilla chips w/salsa (homemade DH salsa which ROCKS!). My 5-yr old turns to me and says "Mom, what's for dinner?" I said "This IS dinner!" He said, "No, this is a snack!"
LORD HELP ME WHEN HE BECOMES A TEENAGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone have a part-time job I can take on now to start saving up the money????

Ahh the joys of eating with no worries. I loved driving my mom mad by going through up to 6 gallons of milk and god knows how much other food a week when I was running track and cross country in high school!

my mother used to feed me diner before we went out for dinner. this started about 8 y/o i guess. They knew there was an issue when at the church dinners there was a lot less leftovers when i started helping out.  :BURRRRRRRRRP:
by High school i was eating a loaf of bread every other day, and i still only weighed 126 pounds at 5'10"

My boyz are almost 13 and 16 and skinny as twigs. They out eat my hubby X10 I swear! They eat like their mother.
