Two nights in a row I have been in the Houston Rockets' new Toyota Center!  Last night for the rockin awesome Rascal Flatts concert  and tonight I fell into free tickets to see the Rockets themselves!! I'm not a big NBA fan but as a college fan I can definitely appreciate it. It was very cool. I got to see Steve "Franchise" Francis rock da house against the Magic and see Scott Padgett and Keith Bogans play again, this time as a Rocket and Magic instead of a Wildcat, and see exactly how enormous Yao Ming is. My mom had seen him in the grocery store once (reals, she literally stalked him around the store "...and then he must have thought the strawberries weren't ripe, because he put those back, but then...." amazing she wasn't arrested...  ) and she attested to the fact that he really is 7 feet 6 inches tall. But you can't believe it until you see him dwarf Patrick Ewing. 
Off to meet the girls...toodaloo! 
Good times had by all, but things are ALOT different at the NBA level than in college. Much more laid back. It was weird to sit through the whole game....and the 'power dancers' aka strippers  I don't think I would have paid $125 for my seat for what I saw....but I would definitely take another freebie! good times, good times.

Sitting, during Basketball? That is so wrong. Obviously, those fans did not go to the proper school of basketball fandom like we did.
The Mavericks got Delk and Walker this year...made me see KY Blue all over again...
Glad you had such a good time. (can Padgett still leap like he used to. I swear he jumps higher than anyone I've ever seen)
