If you're a word geek, anyway.
WORDCOUNT is a list of almost 87,000 English words, ranked in order of commonality.
By typing a word, you'll see its frequency of usage, from 1 (“the”) to 86800 (“conquistador”), along with words of similar frequency.
It's a bit of a challenge to see if you can think of a word that's close to 86,800. The least common I could think of was "prostheses", which was 85,425.
Of course, you can type in a number, but that isn't much of a challenge.

My first two picks weren't great, but give perspective. Don't choose terms the government would use because they are ranked higher than I would have though.

I lot of words aren't listed, so don't beat yourself up over it.
Examples: spelunking, copesetic
