What are you favorite rides at theme parks???

The Zipper:

Description: You get in a caged car. The car is attached to a moving track. The track is attached to a moving arm. As the arm moves and the track moves the cars swing and may flip many times. Every ride is diffrent, and some rides may get people very sick
Rating: 9 out of 10

Roller Coaster

XCALIBUR
The past and future collide with the introduction of the royally, Xtreme XCALIBUR. Riders aboard 16 gondolas, dangling from a spinning wheel, are catapulted 113 ft. into the air and turned head over heels before coming to a halt, suspended over the ground below. With little time to catch their breath, riders swing back to action repeating the Xtreme journey on the way back down! Theming which reflects the rebellious days of King Arthur's Round Table, combined with cutting-edge modern-day technology, make Xcalibur an Xciting time warped Xcursion!

The Detonator

shoots 24 passengers up 200-foot twin towers reaching a speed of 45 miles per hour in one second, then plunges back to earth faster than a free fall.

The Fury of the Nile

takes riders on a wild river raft ride through five acres of the African Section. Each raft carries six passengers through drenching waterfalls and churning lagoons. The rafts are not on a track -- no two rides are alike.

RipCord

combines the thrill of skydiving and a free-fall flight experience into an adrenaline pumping adventure,Wearing a body harness, riders are hoisted in reverse to launch altitude.

ThunderHawk™

is a unique tumble-and-spin ride guaranteed to give thrill-seekers a whole new appreciation of the Law of Physics!

What are your least favorite rides???

Go-karts
Anything that has you in the front and deals with water (exception Fury of the Nile).

I don't mind roller coasters or water-based type floaty rides.

My favorite all time roller coaster is the wooden Beast at King's Island in Ohio. Rattles your brains out. Friggin awesome. Honorable mention at KI is the King Cobra, the only stand up roller coaster I've ridden, pretty cool.

The Hulk at Universal Studios in Orlando was pretty impressive for a steel coaster, it definitely ranks high with me. Second place would be the fire and ice duelling dragons coaster where it looks like you're going to hit the other track Shocked

And you've gotta love old school like Space Mountain, even if it does feel a bit like the first star wars.

Now if we get too whirly, like non-roller coasters, I get sick. And the rides at Epcot and Disney where you go in a room and sit in a chair that sort of moves and jerks while the screen shows you 'moving' make me really really close to vomiting. Its not right to look like you're moving when you're really not. I had to rest for like an hour because of one of those at Epcot this summer.... puke

My favorite is California Screamin' at Disneyland's California Adventure. It is a really fast and smooth rollercoaster that uses linear induction motors to accelerate. Very nice, indeed! Mr. Green

The Zipper ride is usually a part of any traveling midway attraction (State Fairs, Calgary Stampede, etc).

The rest are right here in KC at our local theme park.
