Missed the first half hour when my TiVO decided to have some selective amnesia. (BTW, what did I miss during the first 30 minutes?)
Thought # 1 - Is it just me or is it annoying that some out of shape peeps that can't complete the tasks without complaining? If you know you are going to be on this show, you should have a general idea (ahead of time) what you are getting into. Would it hurt you to put down the Olive Garden roll and hit the cardio 5+ times a week to prepare. I know if I had a shot at winning a million bucks on the Amazing Race, I would surely be in pretty good shape on Day One.
Thought # 2 - The Italian family with the two boys is very stereotypical and they are all beyond annoying.

It's not just you. The dad with the 3 daughters is prime example. C'mon, Pops! Step it up for your daughters! And, change your negative attitude while you're at it!

I wanted them to lose almost as much as the family that lost. The dad on the losing team was 'quietly' going off on his son's 'mistake' until he found out he was the one giving bad directions. What a putz.
I like the team from Cincy. They seem to have bad luck throughout the show, until the end, but they have a great attitude. WHO DEY!

You took the words right out of my mouth. I know we are only seeing a small portion of the video, but it is annoying.

1!! On all points!
I truly can't stand the Italian family anymore.
I felt really bad for the son in that team that got eliminated. He must have been thinking, "My dad's a jerk!"
The single mom family is my favorite so far.
