It's a day late and I didn't bother watching the recap show last night, but whatcha think?
The older lady isn't looking so good. That fall must have been worse than it looked because she looks abused.

I didn't watch the recap either (I'm glad they didn't do it on a Tuesday like they have in the past...are you sensing they are rushing us through this season for some reason?)
I was sorry to see the brothers go. I didn't like them initially but they've grown on me. I guess when they wrecked and their attitude about whether or not they'd still be in it, their concern about the injured crew guy and how they didn't give up really impressed me. I liked their idea that if they were dressed ridiculously that Phil wouldn't take their packs. I also liked Lynn and Alex putting on all their clothes....Phil's face was pretty funny....
Our newest dysfunctional couple: Ron and Kelly. I never liked Kelly, now she's bringing out an ugly side of Ron, but I almost don't blame him. She's a big southern belle princess. Even I want to smack her at times.
Uchenna and Joyce are my favorites right now. Although admittedly, its gotten fun to watch Rob and Amber play the game so well.
Gretchen does look abused. And is getting on my nerves. Time for them to go home and her to get her face lift she always wanted (or whatever it was she said when she fell)

I'm enjoying Rob and Amber more than I expected.
Outside of the comment Lynn and Alex made about Uchenna being "born" to carry water on his head, I'm still digging that couple. They are so supportive of each other. It's kind of refreshing this season.
But then later Uchenna made the comment that he saw this all the time at his father's village, so maybe it's coming through the blood (or something like that).
That turned a semi-racist comment on its head.

I want to kick myself, though, with liking Rob and Amber now. I so want to continue disliking them, but they are respecting each other and playing the game well. But I'm still for Uchenna and Joyce. I felt in that episode that they had to shine shoes, Joyce's skin color appeared to be a disadvantage and it pissed me off.

I think I missed Amazing Race chat last week, but I loved how Uchenna and Joyce were at that orphanage. I'm just a sap for kids, but I started crying when I realized they were buying that stuff for an orphanage and then they got to go to the orphanage. I don't know why that got to me so much, but it did and I liked that Joyce and Uchenna (as opposed to say the brothers) saw that and appreciated it for what it was as well, although, with their desire for kids, I'm sure it really hit home for them too.
Pug, I was taken aback by the "born to do this" comment too...I really don't think he meant it that way. I want to believe he was saying "they are naturals at this" kind of thing. But I do like how supportive they are of eachother. And they still make me laugh. "Will you wear some of my clothes too? Maybe some underwear as a headband?"

Agree with all of your thoughts Cheryl. The old folks need to go next. Gretchen is really getting on my nerves.
Wish the brothers would have stuck around for another episode. I thought they were hilarious. It sucks that this episode didn't have some sort of equalizer to help them out.
Uchenna and Joyce seem to have a great attitude (along with Rob and Amber). I would say those two teams are the favorites at the moment to take home the whole thing.

I missed the episode when she fell, but man she looks horrible! I also noticed they really tried to keep from showing it close up too.
The brothers were ok, but they made really dumb mistakes all the time.
In the beginning I had my heart set on liking the POW and his girl, but I find I don't really like either of them. Especially her.

I think the POW is cool, but that pageant queen is a piece of work. And she's not pretty. 
I've got mixed feelings on Rob and Amber. I think they've got a great attitude toward the game, but I really think he needs to turn down the jackass dial just a little. He's not doing it to be mean spirited - that's pretty obvious, but I wish he'd not do things that could cause other people to get hurt. Like in the clip show - they showed him changing lanes and faking getting off on a left exit (in a fair amount of traffic) just to mess with the old guy. The old guy almost wrecked. Not very nice.
Very sad about the brothers. I think it's going to come down to the gay guys and Rob and Amber.
