DUDE LIST RULES FOR RIFF RAFF DUDES
Ladies you can comment on this as well.
Dudes, this is only a preliminary list, I need input from all of the dudes here. Feel free to add more or comment on these.
Here are a few starters
1) A dude is a man.
2) Dudes are expected to be hard workers in whatever their chosen profession career is.
3) Dudes never hit women. NEVER.
4) Dudes love their kids period.
5) When the going gets tough a dude does not leave. A dude gets going to work and sees it through to the end.
6) A dude would never run when called to serve. If duty, country, God, family, community call, dudes are there.
7) Dudes cry. Any dude who does not cry does not prove anything to me. You can cry when your friend dies, over a sick baby or child, or when it is called for. A true dude aint afraid of letting his feelings go.
 A dude when he makes a mistake, owns up to it, apologizes and moves on. He does not blame someone else or make excuses. You screw up, fix it and move on.
9) A dude does not drink and drive. Enough said.
10) A dude shows respect and models it for up and coming dudes. No dude is rude and dispesectful.
11) A dude knows all of the major tools in a workshop. If you have a house big enough all dudes should have a place for tools.
12) Official tools of dudes: Stanley and Craftsman for handtools, Milwauke for the sawzall, Dewalt for battery powered tools and Home Depot or Sears is where you get them.
13) Dudes do not shop. They get, run to, pick up, acquire etc.
14) If you borrow a tool from another dude, return it when your are done. If it uses gas, fill it up, if it gets dirty clean it.
15) If you do not own a truck, know a dude who does so when you need it just ask. Just dont assume the other dude comes with it. Just because he has a truck, does not obligate him to help you. This being said, return truck clean and with more gas than you picked it up with.
16) Borrowing money, dudes buy lunch, beer, drinks, etc for each other. There should never be running total between you. It all comes out in the wash. IF you do not pay your share you are not a worthy dude.
17) Dudes can change diapers, help out with sick kids and help their SO's with other stuff around the house when needed.
1 Grilling-dudes only, no chics use the grill. Sorry ladies.
19) Important dude rule-bigger is better, especially with trucks and or tools.
20) History channel is a necessary channel for a real dude to watch.
21) A real dude never forgets that millions of other dudes, who died to make us dudes free. Salute fallen dudes and those who have served.
22) Football should always be played by dudes. Sorry chics have made many strides in other sports but football is for dudes only.
23) If a dude is going through a rough time, us dudes are supposed to stick together to help him through. Do what it takes, even it means telling the other dude he was wrong.
24) The official pet of a dude is a dog. PERIOD.
25) The VW Cabriolet is not a dude car. If you drive that any other dude may punch you in the kidneys

There should be something in your rules about how real dudes 'nap' only
with their own wives or if single, their single girlfriends.
Awesome list. Just the kind of man I married. Single women should carry this around in their wallets when they "shop" for a man.
