I miss my husband and I hate my job. It's Friday and I am meeting a friend for Happy Hour. I am the most non-productive person on the planet now.
(I really, really do miss Larry. How do those of you with spouses that travel a lot deal with it). It would help GREATLY if I was back in Columbus, where we had a ton of friends and things to do! It's not so easy to make a lot of friends down here, and my closest friend here works a lot like me, and two other good friends just left town permanently. To add to everything, I have writer's block.

I don't have friends to hang out with. Essentially I have to find new stuff to keep my mind engaged. New hobbies, classes etc.
Working and parenting take up the rest of my time.

You can borrow mine for a few days. Leave him a list of what you'd like fixed around the house too, he loves that stuff. Just cook for him and he's happy.

My "hobby" is normally writing, but I seem to have developed block. Perhaps it will disappear as quickly as it appeared.
genie - EVRYTHING around that house needs fixed. There's a damn tree growing out of the roof, for pete's sake!!!! (But right now I'd settle for the bathroom door, which fell off three days ago. I am having a major issue with doors lately.

i'm blocked too, honey, so it's not just you. I think mercury is retrograde or something.
